🌿 Spa Policies

At LuDawn Spa & Salon, we are committed to creating a relaxing and professional experience for every guest. To ensure the best possible service for everyone, please review our policies below.

Reservations

We highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure your preferred time and service provider. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
A valid credit card is required to hold all appointments. Your information is encrypted and securely stored in our booking system. Your card will only be charged if you miss your appointment or fail to follow our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your appointment — or missed appointments — will incur a 50% service charge.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to avoid impacting other guests, but full service fees will still apply.

Refund Policy for Services

Because our services are customized and based on professional time and expertise, we do not offer refunds on services rendered.
If you are not completely satisfied, please let us know before leaving the spa or contact us within 48 hours. We’ll gladly schedule a follow-up appointment to make adjustments or redo the service at no additional cost.

Return Policy for Products

We will gladly exchange any product within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented.
Cash refunds are not available; instead, a spa credit will be issued for future product purchases.

Spa Parties & Group Bookings

We love celebrating special moments! A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your group reservation. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties.
Exclusive spa use may be arranged upon request — please contact us for fees and available dates.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available in any amount and can be purchased in person or online.
To redeem, please provide the email confirmation or redemption code at checkout.
Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or used to purchase other gift certificates.
Please note: we do not accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover Gift Cards, nor SpaFinder Gift Cards.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 10–15 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time to check in, relax, and enjoy a complimentary beverage in our serene relaxation area.
Late arrivals may result in shortened service time.

Pet Policy

At LuDawn Spa & Salon, we truly love animals — they bring so much joy into our lives!
However, to remain in compliance with the Florida Board of Cosmetology (61G5-20.002), pets and emotional support animals are not permitted inside the spa.
Only service animals specifically trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome.
Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe, relaxing environment for all.

Spa Etiquette & Cell Phone Use

At LuDawn Spa & Salon, we strive to create a peaceful, relaxing environment for all guests. We kindly ask that you:

  • Keep cell phone use to a minimum and set devices to silent mode.

  • Use a soft voice when speaking in the spa.

  • Respect the quiet atmosphere so everyone can fully enjoy their experience.

How should I prepare for my body waxing appointment?

Arrive 10–15 minutes early if you have questions or need to use the restroom. Avoid any type of hair removal for at least two weeks prior to your visit, and stay well hydrated.
Exfoliate 2–3 times a week before your appointment — exfoliating 48 hours before is especially helpful.
Wear loose-fitting cotton clothing afterward to prevent irritation, and avoid physical activity or makeup that may clog pores for at least 24 hours.

What’s the difference between Bikini Line, Bikini Risqué, and Brazilian waxing?

  • Bikini Line: Removes hair that would be visible in a modest bikini.

  • Bikini Risqué: Removes most hair in the bikini area, leaving a small shape if desired.

  • Brazilian: Complete removal of all hair in the bikini area, including the back strip.

What are Signature Nail Services?

A Signature Nail Service begins with an aromatherapy journey to choose your favorite scent. Nail and cuticle care are followed by exfoliation, massage, and your choice of polish.

What are Spa Nail Services?

A Spa Nail Service includes aromatherapy, nail and cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, hot towel compresses, and a neck wrap — finishing with polish in your desired color.

What are the different Massage Services?

  • TheraSpecific Relief Massage: Targets chronic or localized pain in specific regions.
    Areas of focus include neck & shoulders, back, hips, knees, or feet.

  • TheraRelax Massage: A full-body relaxation massage with special attention to sore or tense areas.

  • LuDawn Signature Relaxation Massage: A Swedish-style massage enhanced with aromatherapy and hot moist towels for deep relaxation.
